Joanne Osmond is a reformer and a change agent.
She has been recognized over the years for transforming both individuals and organizations.
In 2000, while at Abbott Laboratories, Joanne received an international award, the Help Desk Institute's Team Excellence Award, for operational excellence by developing the right organization, processes, and technology to provide consistent delivery of end-to-end customer support.
In 2003, she received the ATHENA Award for assisting women in reaching their full leadership potential while demonstrating excellence, creativity, and initiative in her profession.
In 2004, the Lake County media recognized her as one of their “Leaders in the Forefront” for providing valuable services to improve the quality of life for others in the community.
She was recently elected to her fifth term on the Lake Villa Elementary School Board, elected to serve her fourteenth year on Lake’s Division of the IASB, and was recently elected to the IASB’s executive board. In addition she serves on the SEDOL’s Executive Board.
She is the recipient of the Boy Scout’s coveted Silver Beaver Award and serves on the Council’s Executive Board as the Vice President of Cub Scouting.
Joanne Osmond received a BS from Purdue University and an MBA and Masters in Information Systems from Webster University. She is an international speaker, computer programmer, teacher, author, game designer, public affairs director, facilitator, coach, publisher, business counselor, personality profiler, entrepreneur, and her current focus is Web hosting and design for small businesses and not-for-profit organizations.
